A BIT ABOUT ME

My name is Janine Zschech. I am a fully qualified Horticulturalist Gardener having trained at Urrbrae TAFE - Cert III.

I am a Softscaper, which means I work with plants, soil and mulch only.
I do not install paving, decking, fences or trellises which all come under Hard Landscaping.

You might also know as the Crazy Chicken Lady from Adelaide Chicken Sitting Service, which I run in conjunction with my gardening services as I love to support semi-/permaculture gardens integrating chickens, bees, hydroponics and so much more in my clients' gardens.

I specialise in bringing Ornamental Gardening and Fruit & Vegetable Gardening together.
I research the right plants for your garden needs as well as plant toxicology to create a pet friendly environment.

I take pride in listening to my clients needs and finding solutions for their unique situations. Previously ran a gardening blog and hosted Channel 9 gardening show segments in my garden over many years. I am now turning all that knowledge into action for my amazing clients, creating them manageable gardens that they can be proud of.

Whether it is just a garden tidy up, pruning of roses and fruit trees, planting new plants, taking out the unwanted plants, pest and disease issues or support in a permaculture garden or a safe pet friendly environment, I am here to help.

I do far more than just mow lawns. I'm your go-to plant lady.

Many of my clients get a kick out of calling me their "Lady Gardener".

Services

As a gardener I provide services similar to a landscaper, but on a smaller scale. A gardener’s job is to care for plants. Gardeners are hired by individuals, as well as businesses, apartment complexes and parks to care for plants, trees and shrubs.
